Two-story home catches fire in Southwest Baltimore

Wednesday, 15 November 2017, 03:30:01 PM. A two-story home in Southwest Baltimore was showing 'heavy fire' from the second floor when firefighters arrived early Monday, fire officials said.
A two-story home in Southwest Baltimore caught fire before dawn on Monday, the Fire Department said. The home in the 300 block of Bentalou Street was showing "heavy fire" from the front of the second floor when firefighters were called about 4:20 a.m., department spokeswoman Blair Skinner said. The occupants of the house were not harmed. Skinner did not know how many people lived there. Firefighters doused the flames by about 5 a.m., she said. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
